Helping your dog live their best life.
Post-surgery recovery, joint conditions, senior dogs, neurological conditions and more.
Benefits of canine remedial massage
Remedial massage increases blood flow to the injured area, helping to speed up tissue repair. It is also useful for breaking down scar tissue and adhesions, helping mobility, reducing pain and aiding relaxation. We can support recovery from surgery and injuries and help improve quality of life for senior pets, dogs with neurological conditions, amputees and more.
Our Process
-

Pre-consultation
Before we start treatment, we need to gather relevant information about your dog to ensure we provide the best treatment.
Let us know about any health concerns and what you would like to achieve from treatment, and we will work towards your goals.
Remember to tell us if your dog has a known food intolerance, so that we can bring the best treats for them!
-

Communication with vet
We’ll ask you to contact your vet and request they email your dog’s medical history to us.
Once we’ve checked the history, we’ll let them know our proposed treatment plan.
We maintain contact with your vet to ensure our treatment plan compliments the care they are providing.
-

Initial consultation
We visit your dog at home where they are most comfortable.
We observe their gait and perform a full body assessment to check which muscles need treatment.
We chat about your dog’s medical conditions, history and lifestyle to determine the best treatment plan.
We provide an initial massage treatment.
-

Follow up treatments
We’ll complete a series of massage treatments in line with our discussed treatment plan.
The number, frequency and duration of treatment will be tailored to your dog’s needs.
You know your dog best, so we work with owners to adapt the treatment plan as needed.
-

Stay in touch
We love to get updates after the conclusion of your dog’s treatment plan, so please stay in touch!
